Trevor McKenna - Principal
My name is Trevor McKenna and I have the privilege of being in my second year as Principal at Riverglen Junior High. I have been an educator for the past 17 years where I have served as a special education teacher, summer school administrator and a high school assistant principal. 

I believe that our neighborhood public schools are the foundation of strong communities. It is my number one goal to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students. I hope each student feels connected to our school community and has at least one trusted adult they can go to when they need extra support or guidance.

I expect our students to be kind, accepting, and compassionate. We are working on empowering them to be partners in their learning and helping them develop grit to understand they can do hard things!

My name is Camille Fraley and I am the Assistant Principal at Riverglen Junior High School!  I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho and graduated from Twin Falls High School.  I then received my Honor's Program, Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees from University of Idaho.


Since moving to Boise I have taught at Boise High School, North Junior High School, High School Summer School, Alternative High School Summer School and Boise Evening School.  I have also been an administrator at Junior High Summer School, Alternative Junior High Summer School, North Junior High School, Fairmont Junior High School, Longfellow International Focus School, Frank Church High School, Boise Evening School, Marian Pritchett High School and now Riverglen Junior High School.

          Jon Zwainz - Administrative Designee

Welcome to Riverglen! We're thrilled to have you join the Grizz Den community. My name is Jon Zwainz, and I’m proud to serve as Administrative Designee, Athletic Director, and math teacher here at Riverglen Junior High.

As a 9th-grade math teacher, I’m committed to helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics. As the Athletic Director, I oversee our impressive program of 29 sports teams across four seasons, ensuring that every Grizzly has the opportunity to excel both on and off the field. I also support our front office team—Mr. McKenna and Ms. Fraley—with various administrative responsibilities.

Junior high is a critical time for academic growth and personal development, and I believe that participating in co-curricular activities plays a key role in this journey. Involvement in sports not only boosts academic performance but also enhances student health, wellness, and fosters a strong sense of community and belonging. My goal is to ensure that every Grizzly finds their passion and thrives in our athletic programs.
